Reason for this, it has some of the best beaches around but also has other types of activities that you can do, especially when traveling with the children. They love the beach but enjoy other activities too, such as amusement parks.
To find a good beach you don’t have to fly half way around the world. So if you can’t take a whole week, you can always do a long weekend. Just think about it, laying down on a chair, white sand, hot sun, crashing waves, palm trees and of course a nice cold beverage. All you hear is the sound of the ocean. FLORIDA
This state is the host of many popular beaches, Miami Beach, Clearwater Beach, Siesta Beach, Daytona, Cocoa, Smather’s Beach Key West and Sanibel Island. There are even more, just check the websites for Florida and it will give you all the information you need to plan your vacation.
CARIBBEAN
You can’t go wrong visiting the Caribbean. Each island offers you different atmosphere but they all have one thing in common, they can be exotic.
Puerto Rico offers Rosado Beach, east of Cabo Rojo, perfect for getting away from it all. It is one of the most popular beaches and it is considered a romantic spot.
Dominican Republic offers you one of their most popular spots, Punta Cana. In this area you have five beaches to choose from, all have white sandy beaches and crystal clear waters. You can pick for a variety of resorts right on the beach.
BAHAMAS
Of course, you can’t forget the Bahamas. One of the most popular vacation spots in the world. These islands have some of the most luxurious resorts with amenities you can’t even imagine. Some look as though you are in an amusement park. The beaches are all sandy white and the waters are crystal clear. You can definitely go snorkeling and this hot spot always has very good deals, especially for short stays.
Nassau / Paradise Island offers you Rock Point Beach, where they filmed one of the classic James Bond films. Love Beach, here you can go snorkeling and it’s also a very romantic place for sweethearts.
Grand Bahama Island has Lucayan Beach where you can do all types of water activities. Paradise Cove is tucked away on the southwestern shore, a very quiet and secluded beach.
MEXICO
Their beaches have been seen in many movies and shows. Why not, they are beautiful and inviting. You can always find good deals to Mexico.
Cancun has some of the best beaches in Mexico. This is one of the hottest spring break areas around. Their beaches have stunning views and are adjacent to ancient civilizations. This gives you the chance to do more than just tanning.
Cozumel beaches are popular for many types of water activities. You can go scuba diving and snorkeling. You can take tours to visit the ancient Mayan civilization or visit their jungles. They have cruises to travel to other spots along the Yucatan.
HAWAII
I can’t leave out Hawaii. This spot, you definitely need more than just a few days. Depending where you are flying from, you spend plenty of hours in a plane. So for this spot, it is best to have 10 days. Two days for travel and eight days to enjoy some of the islands and their beaches, unfortunately you won’t be able to enjoy it all, not unless you can take more time off.
Oahu very well known for Lanikai Beach, clear waters, swaying coconut palm trees and powder perfect sand. The scene is just right for sunbathing. Ideal for swimming, sailing, surfing, canoeing and windsurfing, you can’t go wrong here. Kauai is the host of Hanalei Bay Beach. This could probably be the most beautiful beach setting in Hawaii. Behind the beach, which is a perfect semi circle, the largest bay, has a breathtaking backdrop of waterfalls. As you lay there on the beach, you can see the emerald green mountain peaks. You can do just about any water activity possible at this beach.
No matter which beach you decide to go to, they all have one thing in common. Beautiful views, white sands, waves, sun and fun. Where you choose to go will depend on how much time you want to spend and of course, the cost. But don’t worry, you will always find good deals, even to Hawaii which is the vacation dream spot for many.
