They have been studying the effects of coffee for over 15 years. They did over 19,000 studies which consisted of over 120,000 people and presently continue doing more studies on the effects of coffee.
Certain studies showed that coffee can also enhance athletic performance and endurance.
The reason for this is that coffee stimulates the body to push on, ignoring fatigue. They also believe that it may affect the muscles directly, making them work more, producing a stronger contraction. We already know that it does help stimulate our brains and helps us do things differently. It makes us feel alert and able to concentrate more.
The caffeine is also known to help with headaches which are found in certain pain relievers. Researchers also found that it has another compound called trigonelline which gives the coffee its bitter taste can help prevent cavities. Of course, all should be done in moderation. Studies have shown that those who drink coffee on a regular basis reduce their risk of Parkinson’s disease by 80%.
CIRRHOSIS
Two cups a day can cut your risk of liver cirrhosis by 80% and half the risk of gallstones.
COLON CANCER
Studies were done on both coffee drinkers and non coffee drinkers. It showed that those that did drink coffee cut their risk of colon cancer by 25% more than those that don’t drink coffee.
ASTHMA
The caffeine in coffee can help control asthma attacks when medicines are unavailable. It can also help manage asthma on a regular basis.
