Organize your daily routines to save your self some time and money.
We spend every day of our lives running errands and every time we get to our destination, it’s packed.
We end up standing in long lines with long waits, pushing our schedules so far back that we have to leave some of our errands for the next day.
Next thing you know you are trying to catch up on your errands.
Well as hard as this may sound, you can actually organize your errands to be more efficient and by doing this you save yourself some time by cutting back on your wait time. You can save a little money on gas because your errands will be scheduled cutting back on running around.
If it’s shopping you have to do then going on certain days of the week, you will find the best bargains and the newest items. It’s truly just a matter of putting your life in order. Anything that is saving you money and adding time back into your life to spend with your family or loved one is worth trying.
MONDAY
You notice it’s time to get a manicure and a pedicure. Normally you leave this for the weekend, especially Saturdays. Change this task to a Monday, the salons won’t have a long wait time, it is the slowest day of the week for them and you can actually find a bargain.
TUESDAYS
On Fridays you may have noticed that the price of gas goes up. Since everyone is planning their weekends, gas stations take advantage of this and raise their prices. To fill up your tank of gas, do this on a Tuesday, the prices are much lower allowing you to save a few dollars.
WEDNESDAY
How many times have you gone to the post office and it’s packed. The wait time is long, at times an hour or more. Beat the crowds; try to leave the errands to the post office for Wednesdays. It’s the slowest day of the week.
THURSDAY
Does your car need an oil change or tires rotated? Don’t wait for the weekend, schedule it for Thursday. You can actually save two hours of your wait time, a plus for you. Now you have more time for other important things in your life.
FRIDAY
It’s time to go grocery shopping. It’s true that Friday’s can be a bit busy but after 7 pm it’s calm and slow. This is the perfect day for shopping. Deliveries come in that morning so you have your choice of fresh produce, fish and items that are on sale.
SATURDAY
We all do this, shopping at the stores for bargains. You will want to go on Saturdays; this is the day you will get the discounts you want by hitting the stores in the evening. Remember, Sunday the new ads will come out and they want to get rid of as much as possible before the new sales.
SUNDAY
If you are planning a trip and you need a hotel room, book it on a Sunday. This is the day you can actually get up to 50% on room rates. Why, it’s easy, those that set the room rates are not there that day so the front desk clerk will do their best to get you what you need.
