5 Things that Women Can Learn from Men

Women will look at the title and will shake their heads.  Most of them will say, learn what from a man?  Drink beer and watch sports all day?  Believe it or not, there is a lot women can learn from men.

When in a relationship, couples learn from each other, pick up habits.  It comes to a point that they mirror each other at times.

That is not a bad thing. The habits that you hopefully picked up are the good ones.  How many times have you heard women complaint that the man is selfish

blunt and that no matter how much they yell at them, they don’t flinch? It’s down right irritating to them, yet these are some of the things women should learn from them.  Helping them deal with everyday life.

Gratitude

When most women receive a gift, praise or a surprise, she automatically feels there is something behind it.  What is it that he wants or better yet, what did he do?  This is because we are brought up to believe this or it has happened in the past.  Women should be more like men, enjoy the gift or praise.  Don’t look into it more than you have to, enjoy it.  See it as a heartfelt gratitude and something you deserve.

Cynic

Women tend to give everyone the benefit of the doubt, it’s their nature.  Men on the other hand can see right through people and tell you exactly what their intentions are.  It drives a woman crazy to know he’s right.  It shouldn’t, learn from it.  It doesn’t mean that you should be cold but instead to be more alert and keep emotions out of it as much as possible.  This prevents heartache and disappointment later on.

Self-focus

One big complaint is how men tend to put their interests and themselves first.  There is nothing wrong with this; they should not be criticized from this.  Women tend to place themselves last and everyone else first.  It’s time to change this habit, allow yourself to fulfill your needs and interests.  It will make you feel more satisfied and feeling this way will allow you to offer more to others.

Parenting

Moms are more cautious about the child hurting themselves.  They only allow them to do so much because of the potential risks there may be or that they may get sick.  It’s great to be cautious but too much of that is not good.  Fathers will let kids do more, allowing them to explore and learn to be more cautious on their own.  This teaches the kids to be more independent and aware of their surroundings.

Being Blunt

Women are more subtle, will do everything they can to be tactful and careful when being honest.  They will beat around the bush.  Men are more straight to the point, very blunt but honest.  Men feel it’s better to be honest than tactful and it’s true.  When you speak clearly, you feel more sure and it relieves the burden of hiding the truth.  It may at first shock a friend but they quickly learn that from you they will only get the truth.  They have more trust in you.
