This is the city where dreams have come true for many. When we think of L.A. what comes to our minds are the movie studios, actors, mansions and the limelight.
So many aspiring actors head to L.A. hoping that they will catch a break like some of the famous actors that are popular today.
There are so many stories of how they worked in a café, happen to walk by someone famous producer and have been discovered.
It’s true that it’s known as the “Entertainment Capital of the World” but there is more to L.A. than catching that break and becoming a rising star. While in L.A. you can visit many of its museums, explore its history, and of course visit their theme parks. For those that love nature, you can go jogging on the beach or go hiking in Hollywood Hills. You can sit on the beach and watch the sunset. It’s truly beautiful and romantic.
At night, you will want to enjoy the nightlife by visiting a trendy bistro or just go out on the town. For those that want to do a little “star gazing” you can visit many of the movie studios, visit the walk of fame and take a guided tour pass the stars homes. A little hint, if you really want to catch a glimpse of the stars, best time to visit is in March, during the Academy Awards. Whatever you decide to do, you will enjoy your trip to Tinseltown. It will be the experience of a lifetime; you will want to go back to L.A.
WALKING TOUR
You will want to visit Olvera Street; this is the oldest part of the city where you can find shops and historic sites. You will also want to visit the ever popular Chinatown. If you want to try something new, head on down to Grand Central Market, there are over 50 plus food stalls.
GRIFFITH PARK
If you want an out of this world view, then you should visit the Griffith Observatory which is located on a 4,210 acre oasis. To this you can add a hike up to Mount Hollywood. For the kids, they can enjoy a vintage carousel or ride the Griffith Park miniature railroad.
WALK OF FAME
Stroll down Hollywood Boulevard and Vine and visit the Walk of Fame. You will see names of many of your famous actors. This has been a very popular attraction for over 50 years. Many just want to be able to place their hands in the hand prints of their favorite actor.
WILL ROGERS STATE BEACH
You have to visit the beach; you can’t leave without doing this at least once. This is a popular destination. Once you are there you can walk on the beach, sit on the sand or ride a bike.
UNIVERSAL STUDIOS HOLLYWOOD
Take a tour of the studios and get a behind the scenes view of famous movie sets. Go on the loop de loop roller coaster and watch amazing 4-D videos.
